Jason Satterlund is the award winning director of Big Puddle Films, a full service film production company in the Pacific Northwest.
Satterlund has been telling stories through film for over 25 years. He began his career in Portland, Oregon working with ad agencies; and then on to Nashville, TN to produce music videos, live events, documentaries, political events and feature films.
Early on he developed a skill as a storyteller and this took him around the world on projects as diverse as filming manta rays in Hawaii, street children in Russia, and Loretta Lynn in a barn. He is the only person ever to conduct a night shoot in the ancient city of Petra, and the first person in America to use film lenses on an HD camera.
Now living in the great, wet Northwest, Satterlund continues producing feature films, national commercial spots, documentaries, and the occasional gig for Bon Jovi. His clients range from the country of Jordan to the Oak Ridge Boys. His latest feature film, The Human Trace, won the Golden Eddy Award at the Cedar Rapids Film Festival.
