Jason Satterlund, Writer, Director, Producer, and Editor of The Academy was the chief visionary behind the project. His core reason to take on this project was because he wanted an idea that would be relatively simple to shoot. After all, what could be easier to shoot than a conversation in a parking garage? This would prove to be his famous last words. Originally conceptualized several years earlier, he enlisted the help of Philosophy Ph.D. candidate, Mattew Randol, to complete the difficult task of scripting the debates of the philosophers. It was important that the arguments of the parking lot attendants were correct, especially since they were speaking in Latin and quoting the likes of Aristotle. |
